No Excuses! Hold Yourself Accountable for your Workout!

July 29, 2017 Alex Russell

Written by Alex Russell

I remember absolutely dreading coming home from work and thinking "there's no way I'm going to walk to the gym" or "class is going to be full by the time I get there why bother?" I also remember feeling sluggish, needing multiple naps during the week, and hitting a plateau with my physical results. I guess sporadic workouts and sporadic healthy eating will do that to you!

Now don't get me wrong, there are times I can remember not feeling this way and being consistent with my nutrition and workouts. But those moments were few and far between before coaching, before finding a goal deeper than "I just want to get to 120", and before actually holding myself accountable to the words I was speaking.

Now I don't give myself the chance to make excuses. With 25 minutes to workout, there's literally no reason to not get a little bit of sweating in. With at-home workouts and little to no equipment needed, I can't find an argument against that one. Thank you to my accountability group for keeping me on track!🙏🏾 and for my Netflix library of exercise for keeping the excuses far away 🙌🏾
